Sarah Palin fails to see amusing side of comedian Sacha Baron Cohen

Sarah Palin is not happy about being 'duped' into appearing on Sacha Baron Cohen's new TV series

Palin criticized the comedian for tricking her into an interview for his new Showtime series.

Cohen, as Ruddick, then mocked Palin for questioning the authenticity of former President Barack Obama's birth certificate and comments she made about being able to see Russian Federation from her home in Alaska. He even mentions that he's "involved in several court cases presently to defend my honor and character against vicious false political attacks by liberals like Cohen".

However, at one point in the interview after Cohen, who was in character at the time, suggested Chelsea Clinton was transgender, Palin called the interview off.

As Sunday's premiere of Sacha Baron Cohen's new series approaches, the list of people who have admitted to being duped by the comic actor keeps growing.

"When I disagreed, he showed me a photograph on his laptop of a huge inaugural crowd and a man holding a digital clock on a pole", he said.

The first teaser video for the show included audio of Donald Trump referring to Cohen as a "Third Rate Character" and saying "I only wish that he would've been punched in the face so many times right now he'd be in a hospital". "It mocked middle class Americans, it mocked our values, it mocked the disabled".

In that episode, President Trump walked off set less than a minute into the interview with Cohen, who was trying to get the real estate scion to invest in gloves for eating ice cream. "I have been asked if I am concerned how I will be portrayed in what we now know to be Cohen's new show, Who Is America?".

He's not sure yet whether he'd take any action against Baron Cohen, who posed as a Finnish actor and wore a disguise during an October 2017 interview in Los Angeles.

"I did NOT say I was a War Vet", the letter posted online reads.

The former Governor of Arkansas and Republican Vice Presidential candidate is known for her outspoken anti-LGBT views.

Koppel then pointed out the obvious problem with that claim: If it was 11 p.m., why was it still broad daylight? "Who Is America?" premieres Sunday, July 15, 2018, on Showtime.

"Mock politicians and innocent public personalities all you want, if that lets you sleep at night, but HOW DARE YOU mock those who have fought and served our country", she continued.

Cohen, she added, is a "proven liar" so nobody can believe what he said or his website. "And mocking the disabled and mocking and belittling our vets with this portrayal, in my book it's not amusing".
