Duchess Meghan joined by her mother for launch of London Grenfell cookbook

In the ITV video, Meghan wore a huge smile as she looked her gorgeous Givenchy gown up and down.

Meghan Markle's mother Doria Ragland was by her daughter's side at Kensington Palace Wednesday for the launch of the Duchess of Sussex's new cookbook.

The 37-year-old American former actress wrote the foreword to the book which represents her first solo venture since becoming a member of Britain's royal family after marrying Queen Elizabeth's grandson Harry in May. 'They're eager to get as far away as possible from Harry's family - and you don't get much farther than Australia!

The Duchess gently handles the delicate veil in the clip from the documentary, and remarks on the 53 Commonwealth nations it reflects, saying: 'It will keep us busy!'

Speaking to the new recruits he says: 'Have you bumped into the Queen yet? Then he chuckles and adds, "I know you will".

Harry's pals, among them billionaire heirs and avid hunters, reportedly have an "issue" with the Duke of Sussex's new wife and her political views.

"The Queen is the most well-travelled monarch in history and it's been fascinating to see how she has passed on her experience to the younger generations of the royal family", said Nicolas Kent, creative director at Oxford Films and executive producer of the documentary. That being said, he went on a hunting trip in Germany earlier that same month, reportedly killing 15 wild boars.

The doco will air on iTV on September 25 and it's expected to appear on Aus screens via Channel Seven in the next few weeks.
